I Got My Finch Today – Chestnut-breasted Mannikin
Yey!! At last, I got what I’ve been hunting for!
For weeks I’ve been after a nice shot of these finches , the Chestnut-breasted Mannikin.
Today, I went out and got a lot more than I bargained for!…
Starting with the duck family in the pond, swallows getting mud from a mud puddle for their nest, a couple of peewees also at the mud puddle, shots of other finches in the grass, and finally….
I spotted these Chestnut-breasted finches in the grass near the mud puddle.
