Flying Blue Face

Another first-time shot…I spotted a bird in the pine tree.

The black and white markings were different to birds I knew. So I zoomed in…

But by the time I got the bird in the viewer, it flew off. I looked in the view to see what it was, and discovered it was a Blue-faced Honeyeater. Yey!!

I’d spotted this bird in the area a few times and I’ve been wanting to capture it. So happy I could… and hope for many more.
